The husband of Anulika Nwokike, the Anambra woman arrested over alleged child pornography activities, has denied knowledge of his wife’s alleged actions.
The man, identified as Ikechukwu Onyeanyusi, said he was unaware of the alleged activities involving their children.
“I did not know anything about what she was doing,” Onyeanyusi reportedly said.
His statement followed the arrest of Nwokike, who was accused of allegedly defiling her children and recording the acts for online content.
The case has generated public outrage, with many Nigerians calling for a thorough investigation and appropriate action against anyone found culpable.
The husband’s denial suggests that he was not aware of the alleged activities before his wife’s arrest.
