President Bola Tinubu has hit back at former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, saying his administration is addressing problems inherited from previous governments.
Responding to recent criticism from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Tinubu said many of the challenges facing the country today stem from policies and decisions taken while Atiku served in government.
The President maintained that his administration remains focused on implementing reforms aimed at stabilising the economy, improving security and delivering long-term development.
Tinubu also accused the former vice president of ignoring his own role in Nigeria’s past governance while criticising the current administration.
The exchange is the latest in a series of political clashes between the two leaders as the build-up to the 2027 general elections gathers momentum.
