The Super Eagles of Nigeria suffered a 3-0 defeat to Guinea-Bissau in their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match in Bissau on Tuesday.

The result leaves Guinea-Bissau in control of Group L, while Nigeria face an early setback in their qualification campaign.

Nigeria struggled to impose themselves on the game as Guinea-Bissau took advantage of their opportunities to secure a convincing victory.

The defeat came in the second match of the qualifying campaign and leaves the Super Eagles needing a response in their subsequent fixtures.
