Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has called on residents to unite and heal following the violence that occurred during the recently concluded governorship election.

Adeleke expressed condolences to families who lost loved ones during the electoral violence, saying the state must move beyond the divisions created by the election.

The governor urged residents to put the election behind them and work together for the progress and development of Osun State.

He also called for reconciliation among political actors and supporters, stressing the need for peace and unity across the state.

Adeleke said his administration would remain committed to promoting peace and ensuring that the people of Osun State benefit from good governance.

He appealed to residents to support efforts aimed at healing the wounds caused by the violence and to work collectively towards a more peaceful state.
