African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has called for the investigation of the Minister of Works, David Umahi, over issues related to the case involving activist Mary Habila.

In a statement, Sowore urged the appropriate authorities to thoroughly investigate the matter, insisting that public officials should be held accountable whenever questions arise over their conduct.

He also called for appropriate action if any wrongdoing is established after due process.

Sowore said transparency and accountability remain essential in public service, stressing that allegations involving government officials should be addressed through lawful and impartial investigations.
