Big Brother Naija Season 11 will reach its conclusion on Sunday, with nine housemates remaining in contention for the N160 million grand prize.

The “Show Ya Sef” edition began on July 26 with 24 housemates, but several evictions, twists, disciplinary actions and other developments have reduced the number of contestants to nine.

The finalists are Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.

One of the major twists of the season was the introduction of the “Gambit” format, which initially gave Aikou and Flora guaranteed places in the finale but made them ineligible for the grand prize.

The twist was later reversed after viewers were given the opportunity to release the two housemates from their Gambit status. Aikou and Flora subsequently became eligible to compete for the N160 million prize alongside the other contestants.

Another major development came when Barry used his Ultimate Veto Power to grant immunity to all 10 remaining housemates, effectively cancelling the Week Nine eviction and sending the contestants directly into the finale.

Keivo later won the Week Nine Head of House title, but his campaign for the grand prize ended after he was disqualified following a physical confrontation with Tram.

Big Brother reviewed footage of the incident and identified Keivo as the perpetrator before announcing his disqualification on September 29.

Earlier in the season, Nomy’s participation was also terminated after she received a strike for violating Big Brother’s instructions concerning her Benchwarmer duties.

The season also saw Chimsom Chuka and Abi emerge as two-time Heads of House, while several other housemates exited through regular and multiple evictions.

With the finale now approaching, the remaining housemates will compete for the N160 million prize, with the winner to be determined through the voting process.

The finalists have also made their final pitches to viewers, explaining why they believe they should win the competition and, in some cases, identifying fellow housemates they would support for the prize.

The Season 11 finale is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, when the winner of the competition will be announced.
