Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka scored twice each as England recorded a 7-0 victory over Croatia in their Nations League clash in Rijeka on Saturday.

Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon and substitute Morgan Rogers were also on target as England produced a dominant display to secure their second win in three matches in the group.

Kane opened the scoring in the eighth minute after Bellingham played him through, with the England captain calmly finishing from inside the box.

Bellingham doubled England’s advantage in the 21st minute, finishing a flowing move after Gordon kept Saka’s cross alive inside the area.

Gordon then made it 3-0 in the 39th minute when he headed home a precise cross from Jarell Quansah.

Saka added England’s fourth just before half-time, finishing from close range after another impressive move involving Bellingham.

Kane scored his second goal in the 53rd minute, sliding in to convert a cross from Elliot Anderson.

Saka completed his brace in the 68th minute after capitalising on another defensive error by Croatia and finishing from Kane’s pass.

Rogers completed the scoring three minutes from full-time, rounding Croatia goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic before finding the net from Bellingham’s pass.

The result gave England their biggest victory under manager Thomas Tuchel and marked Croatia’s heaviest defeat.

Kane’s two goals also took his England tally to 89 goals in 124 appearances.

England are now level on six points with Spain in League A, Group 3, although Spain have a game in hand.

The Three Lions will face the Czech Republic at Wembley on Tuesday in their final match of the international break as they continue their push for a place in the Nations League quarter-finals.
