The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has urged eligible Nigerians who have yet to register as voters to complete the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise before the July 26 deadline.

The electoral body also encouraged those seeking to transfer their voter registration, replace lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), or correct their personal details to take advantage of the exercise before it closes.

INEC stressed that no extension has been announced for the registration period and advised prospective voters not to wait until the final hours to complete the process.

The commission reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a credible and inclusive electoral process, urging citizens to participate actively by ensuring they are duly registered ahead of future elections.
