Former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has denied reports suggesting he is planning to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Adelabu described the speculation as false and misleading, insisting that he remains a committed member of the ruling party.

He said there was no truth to claims linking him with a planned defection, urging his supporters and members of the public to disregard the rumours.

The former minister reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and pledged to continue working with the party in pursuit of its political objectives.

His clarification comes amid growing political realignments and speculation over possible defections ahead of the 2027 elections.
