The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has urged President Bola Tinubu to allow the forthcoming Osun State governorship election to proceed without political interference.
Ayodele appealed to the President to ensure that the will of the electorate prevails, stressing the importance of a free, fair and credible electoral process.
The cleric said respecting the choice of voters would strengthen Nigeria’s democracy and boost public confidence in the country’s electoral system.
He also called on political stakeholders to shun violence and actions capable of undermining the credibility of the election.
Ayodele urged residents of Osun State to participate peacefully in the poll and allow the democratic process to take its course.
