The Federal High Court in Lagos has struck out a suit filed by Princess Abiodun Oyefusi challenging the outcome of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship primary in Lagos State.

Oyefusi had instituted the suit against the ADC, its governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, and other defendants over the party’s primary election.

The court struck out the case after Oyefusi withdrew the suit.

The development comes as political parties prepare for the 2027 Lagos State governorship election, with Rhodes-Vivour set to contest under the ADC.

The court’s decision brings the legal challenge to an end at the Federal High Court, following the withdrawal of the case by the plaintiff.
