Former Vice President and African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has dismissed the electoral relevance of former President Olusegun Obasanjo ahead of the 2027 general election.

Atiku made the remark while discussing the political landscape and the influence of prominent political figures on electoral outcomes.

The former Vice President argued that Obasanjo does not possess the electoral value required to determine the outcome of an election.

Atiku’s comment comes amid growing political realignments and debates over the influence of former leaders and other prominent figures ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The ADC candidate is expected to face strong competition as political parties and opposition groups intensify preparations for the 2027 polls.
